Rooftop Water Tower Restoration

Years of sun and weather had left this decorative rooftop tank peeling down to bare metal, with its lettering barely readable. We restored the surface and brought the graphics back sharp and bold.

Overview

Working at height on a commercial rooftop, our crew prepared the tank's metal surface, applied a fresh coating, and repainted the lettering and emblem so the tank reads clearly again from the street and the surrounding buildings.

The Goals

Project Requirements

Metal exposed to the elements needs careful preparation, or a new coating will fail the same way the old one did. The lettering also had to be recreated cleanly so the tank looked right again.

Our Approach

We used a lift for safe access all the way around the tank and handled each step in sequence, from surface prep to the final lettering.
